Educational Mission & Curriculum

We are all united by a common educational mission with 3 developmental goals

We nurture three attributes that are key to child development and wellbeing

Educational neuroscience shows us that a child’s brain develops by 35% - 85% between birth and the age of five, depending on the ongoing relationships with their environment and the people around them. When families place their children in our care, wherever they are in the world, they are entrusting us with the vital role of contributing to their well-being and helping them develop their full potential.

An ambitious pedagogical approach, at the crossroads of disciplines and cultures, that prepares each child to flourish and take his or her place in the world.

Understanding what children need

To believe in themselves, children need to:

  • Be warmly welcomed with their family

  • Feel in physical and emotional security
  • Have their culture and differences recognized
  • Have their own individual rhythm respected
  • Express their emotions
  • Take risks without putting themselves in danger
Group

To learn all the time, children need to:

  • Evolve in playful, organized, understandable spaces

  • Express themselves and be heard

  • Live in an environment where language is rich and varied

  • Develop their sensorial, motricity, artistic and cognitive capacities

  • Experiment: play and manipulate spontaneously

  • Liberate their creativity through actions, play and thought

A common educational mission, different local curriculums

Our curriculums in Asia

In Singapore, Little Footprints takes a holistic approach to child development by combining theme-based active learning, progressive learning and experiential methods. Kiddiwinkie Schoolhouse focuses on curiosity, the first step to learning, through an inquiry-based approach that balances play with preparing for school.

In India, Amelio’s World of Discovery curriculum was developed after two years of research by a team of expert child psychologists, pediatricians, early childhood educators and researchers, and combines the best practices of internationally renowned curriculum methods.

The best curriculums in Europe

All over Europe, we offer a blend of the best curriculums: EYFS, Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Emmi Pikler. We focus on play-based learning methods that are adapted to meet local needs.
In France, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg, children are welcomed into a high-quality bilingual French / English environment.
In Germany, the week is planned around the capacities of each child, so that parents can follow their progress in four key domains: being strong, living together, creative expression and discovering the world.

In  Netherlands  the philosophy is based on providing an internationally oriented nurturing learning environment. This environment is one which seeks to understand cross-cultural experiences and their impact on children - the parents can choose between fully English-speaking and bilingual groups for their children.

EYFS Curriculum in the Middle East

In our nurseries in the United Arab Emirates, we provide an enriched developmental journey based on modern British curriculum (EYFS) targets: self confidence & self-esteem, language development, positive relationships & openess to the world.

Teaching approaches in North America

In North America, Little Sprouts are leading the way with their Budding Scholars™ approach. Individualized for each child, it’s based on the most effective teaching methodologies and over 30 years’ experience.

The Heartworks and STEAMworks preschool programs provide a safe, nurturing, and creative environment where children and students develop moral character, grow into social and emotional maturity, and are introduced to important concepts that spark their natural curiosity in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

Our pedagogical approaches in South America

In South America, Origami in Colombia and Diálogos in Argentina are championing early years education with innovative, well-rounded curriculums that promote the physical, social, intellectual and emotional capacities of each child in their care.
