Our book on Sustainable Education

--

A three-volume work dedicated to exploring the paths of sustainable education.

Sustainable Education modernizes the legacy of the "new pedagogies" of Montessori, Pikler, and Freinet by combining this heritage with the most up-to-date scientific contributions on early childhood development and neuroscience.

This educational model is based on six-pilliars:
- Guaranteeing the physical and emotional safety of young children
- Drawing on the child's natural curiosity and knwoledge to support their development
- Integrating nature into learning experiences
- Allowing time to respect children's rhythms
- Promoting inclusion, open-mindedness, diversity, and multiculturalism
- Collaborating with families to build a harmonious educational pathway

Structured in three volumes, "know how to be", "know how" and "living together", the book, which is aimed at children aged 0 to 6, provides various tools to improve support for children in their early years. It explains how to develop children's self-confidence and natural curiosity, the importance of learning in contact with nature and respecting individual rhythms, and how to promote inclusion and collaboration with families to build a society of living together.

The challenge is to enable children to develop their full potential over the long term, based on an educational model that is common to all, but developed as close to the ground as possible, according to the characteristics of each child, each country, and each culture.

The commitment is clear: to understand and assimilate the skills that young children need to live in their environment , to transform and improve it.

What is Sustainable Education?

A three-volume book

Volume 1: Know how to be

This first volume is devoted to life skills: self-confidence and curiosity are the two most fundamental life skills of early childhood, invaluable for life.

Volume 2: Know how

This second volume is dedicated to know-how: learning in contact with nature and respecting individual rhythms are two skills that are rooted in early childhood, and are decisive for our common future.

Volume 3: Living together

This third volume is dedicated to living together: promoting inclusion and collaborating with families are the keys to living together. Sustainable education is multi-faceted. Its responsibility is collective.
