Babilou Family strengthens its presence in Luxembourg and Colombia with two acquisitions
Babilou Family, one of the biggest early education networks in the world, announces the acquisition of the five-nursery-network “La Colline aux Enfants” based in Luxembourg and of seven childcare centers belonging to Advenio network in Colombia. With those operations, Babilou Family-Luxembourg now includes 28 childcare centers across Luxembourg and 14 across Colombia. It becomes the first early education network for both areas.
Babilou Family, first nursery network in Belgium and Luxembourg
Founded in 2003 by Edouard and Rodolphe Carle, Babilou Family’s network gathers 450 nurseries in France and more than 700 childcare centers worldwide.
Babilou Family has been based in Luxembourg since 2017 with the acquisition of the first childcare network Lavorel Kids & Baby. The group is now expanding its presence across the country by acquiring “La Colline aux Enfants”, a family business that owns 5 bilingual childcare centers and welcomes 237 children aged 0 to 12.
Babilou Family gathers 28 centers in Luxembourg and becomes with this acquisition, the leader of BtoB and CtoC’s childcare in Belgium and Luxembourg with more than 40 childcare centers.
First childcare network for 0-5-year-olds in Colombia
Two years after the acquisition of Origami, childcare’s leader in Colombia, Babilou Family pursues its development in the country and announces the acquisition of Advenio seven-nursery-network. Founded in 2010 and specialized in 0-5 years old children care, the Mexican group is in Colombia since 2013.
The group now owns 14 nurseries in the country and welcomes 1100 children. This acquisition confirms its position as the first childcare’s network for children aged between 0 and 5 in Colombia.
