Rodolphe and Edouard Carle founded Babilou in 2003 with a long-term vision and conviction that they could have a strong impact on tomorrow’s world through childcare and early years education. The company grew progressively at first, establishing a solid basis for further expansion – and in 2012, with a leading in position in France, the founders began to look for opportunities to share their expertise and experience abroad.

Our international development strengthens the Group by diversifying revenue sources, models and underlying economic cycles. Above all, it brings more value to children and our teams. We all learn from each other’s educational systems. We share best practices and are constantly enriching our curriculums.

What better way to learn about a new culture and the quality education expectations of parents and families than to work with local entrepreneurs with a strong footing each country?

We sign partnerships with passionate, talented entrepreneurs. Babilou takes a minority stake at first to give each party time to learn from each other, with a view to gradually increasing ownership and integrating the organization into the Group.
